A few weeks ago we put up the tree and I dragged up all the Christmas bulbs or "balls" as Bella calls them. She loved to play with them but after she broke the third one in her mouth we took them away. The next day I went to Walmart to buy shatter proof ones! Now our tree is kid friendly!

We had to do the same thing when Aaron (our 2nd) was young. And here we are still using the shatter-proof cheapies.....I figure by the time the boys are all past the age of 12 we can switch batch to the 'breakable' kind!
